I normally don't take too many pictures of batters swinging at a pitch, because a majority of the time, they miss or don't swing, and then you get no picture. Even though with digital you're not wasting film, it can add cycles to the shutter. However, for some reason on this game I did, and I got lucky as the shutter released at the instant the bat met the ball. I later learned that this was the first home run for this Bowdon player.
