Cades Cove 2

This beautiful white-tail doe stood still long enough for me to get a good portrait, before running after mama. Deer are plentiful at Cades Cove, pretty much because hunting is not allowed, and the deer have come to learn that humans will leave them alone. I have had deer come as close as 10 feet while taking pictures. You just have to stay still and move slowly. It's very rewarding.
